Tarot Office Hours: Tarot Fashion: In Someone Else’s Shoes

The cobbler’s children have the worst shoes, or so the proverb goes—but what can footwear tell us about the people who wear it? In this delightfully unusual class, we’ll take a closer look at shoes, boots, bare feet, and sandals throughout the Tarot, asking how they reveal status, profession, vulnerability, pilgrimage, freedom, or power. Sometimes the smallest details carry the richest symbolic meaning, and learning to notice them can open entirely new ways of reading the cards.
