This 1960s vintage nylon slip comes in a deliciously seductive combination of orange and black.
Oh, if a garment could speak! I wore it often back in the day, when I was living in Germany, and I believe I found it in Berlin. The front is particularly pretty, finished with accordion-pleated ruffles and delicate black lace. Its unapologetically sexy Halloween palette was almost certainly what drew me to it in the first place.
The slip is a size small and quite sheer, so unless you are feeling particularly daring, you may wish to wear another slip beneath it—the rare slip that requires a slip. There’s a little tier at the bottom, easily fixed.
